Summer Vibes!

It’s Summertime and I’m loving it! Beautiful mornings, lemonade, sunshine, long evenings and time to make lots of memories

I feel like I have been moving from one big thing to another! Always having to focus and keep my thoughts together for what I am planning to do next. And then I have to stop and think, “am I embracing and enjoying what I am doing right now and allowing Jesus to speak to me and grow me through my daily activities and extra busy times? Am I doing what matters most?” I want to be able to slow down and enjoy each and every day; taking time to watch the sun, enjoy the wildlife and talk with a little friend! If I can keep Jesus in focus, asking Him to guide my days, I can slow down and keep task in proper prospective.

Recently we heard a quote something like this ” the men who couldn’t pray one hour with Jesus had no problem fishing all night… You will get done what you want to do.” If you want to spend quality time with Jesus, your family or friends, you will. What has been your priority? Are you asking Him to guide your days and what you say Yes to?

Are you making Jesus your priority during these busy and fun summer days? Does Jesus come through everything you are doing? Whether you are having your morning devotions, at work, or spending time with friends, Jesus should be in every area of your life.

  1. Thank you for that reminder! Summer goes by fast; it’s good to be reminded that it’s communion with Jesus that will make every day meaningful!
