DIY Geometric Décor

I have always admired these geometric shapes at décor stores, but I never wanted to spend the money to buy them for parties. As I found out, you don’t have to buy them, you can make them! They are super easy and add style and beauty to any table or centerpiece. Definitely a win!

SUPPLIES:

6- 8″ pieces of 1/8″ dowel rod
Hot glue gun and glue
Gold spray paint

Step 1:
Glue three pieces of dowel rod together to make a triangle as shown in photo 1

Step 2:
Begin gluing pieces onto each corner, angling them so they will meet in the center at the top. (photo 2)

Step 3:
Finish gluing the pieces onto the corners and attach them at the top. (photo 3)

Step 4:
Secure each place 2 or more pieces of dowel rod are attached with glue. Be sure it’s glued well so it doesn’t come apart half way through the party!

Step 5:
Spray paint the dowel rods well so every surface is covered in golden beauty.

Step 6:
After the paint is dry, party it up! Add some florals, greenery, and candles to accent your décor. You can also experiment with other shapes!
